Every survivor needs to be empowered, and deserves the services that we provide after the effects of sexual assault/abuse. We give survivors the chance to recover from their emotional and/or physical trauma. When sexual assault/abuse strikes, we are readily available to assist survivors by any means necessary.
Our President and Founder, Brianna Michelle, is a survivor who understands the traumatic effects of sexual violence, along with the immediate care needed to heal past these experiences. Brianna founded VBA after recognizing a void in the self-care and empowerment services available to survivors. She wants to change the face of survival by promoting a more positive and celebratory image of healing.
Intersectionality, feminism, and radical inclusion lie at the heart of all our initiatives, in an effort to ensure that we consistently uplift those in the greatest need within our community. We want to ensure that survivors of sexual assault/abuse have access to a platform to rebuild their lives and take ownership of their story. Support VBA by joining, donating, volunteering, or partnering with us.
